RumlogNG and WSJT-X TCPIP IC-7610 setup audio ?

Unread post by DK3DUA »

Hello,

I have followed these instructions

https://dl2rum.de/RUMlogNG/docs/de/pages/WSJT.html

RumLog can control the TRX, WSJT-X via the localhost:7374 of RumLog too, so far everything is ok

But how do I get to the audio devices of the TRX?
Is there anything missing? Perhaps the "Without Wire" tool?
And would this solution (whatever you should use) for audio via TCPIP also work with such
somewhat sensitive modes as FT8 Superfox?

Under Windows there is a tool "tweaktime" where you can adjust the PC time in small steps back and forth for
optimal adaptation to the time shift of the received signal (works great), is there also something like this
for the Mac ?

P.S. Just tried "Without Wire" ... yes WSJT-X now gets the audio stream , but .. I have to listen all the time to FT8 audio
because it only works if Macbook audio is not muted ?

Thanks and vy 73

It's all integrated in RUMlog. See Menu-->Transceiver-->Audio #1/2. You just have to create virtual audio cables using a tool like Sunflower or BlackHole.
