I have to situations where I can't get autorotate working within Rumlogng and "Rotor." Rotor works great and manually rotates. Rig control is working fine and shows the frequency in the regular and contest logs.
In regular logs, when I tab out of the call sign field, there is no auto-rotation. If I double click on the azimuth symbol (red and white) it will rotate but I was hoping to autorotate on tab. If that is supported, how do I get that? I can't find anything in the manual or UI to help define that.
Also, if I am in contest mode, there is a smaller azimuth symbol and double clicking on that doesn't rotate it at all. Is there a mechanism to autorotate on tab (or other means) in contest logs? If so, how?
Thanks, all.
(I just donated some money to Thomas to help support this great program. Thanks in advance for any help).
Auto Rotate
Re: Auto Rotate
Ok, I am not sure what is relevant or not.
I am using the following:
--Icom IC-7850 on a USB/Serial port at 19,200 BPS. Communication with the rig is perfect (frequency shows in the logs).
--Green Heron Engineering RT-21 Yaesu rotator controller on a USB/Serial port at 4800 bps. The Rotor program sees the rotator controller and it shows heading and will properly turn it when a value is entered into the number field.
RumlogNG and Rotor are communicating with each other using UDP port 12060 (Rumlog logbook and Rumlog contest).
I have Hamqth and qrz.com username and passwords filled out for call look up and the map feature works.
If there is more details you needed, please advise.
The current issue is that tabing out of the callsign will not auto rotate. In logbook, I have to click on the azimuth red/white mark. In contest mode, there is no way to get it to rotate. Clicking on the smaller azimuth mark gets me nothing. So in contest mode, I am turning the dial on the Green Heron.
Thank you for any help.

Re: Auto Rotate
Please provide screen shots, also from the Rotor Control Window. This one shows helpful status information.
