Transverter setup

Unread post by PE2V »

Hello,

I'm using since a couple of days 2 transverters for VHF and UHF. With the transverter offset option /setting in RUmlogNG this works great. But... the transverters have a different offset. 116MHz for VHF and 404MHz for UHF

What I did: I use TRX#1 settings for VHF and TRX#2 for the UHF settings. I can switch between these to transverters by disable TRX#1 and enable TRX#2 for UHF etc... for VHF. This works fine for me!!

The only question I have is, is this the best way to do or is there an other easier way to switch?

Thanks, Vincent PE2V

Ok, I found an other option to do; save the setup in the presets.... yes. More easy ;)

> Preset 1 144MHz offset 116MHz
> Preset 2 432MHz offset 404MHz

EDIT: the Transverter# On/Off is not saved in the preset. Is this possible? Absolutely not necessary but for lazy people ;)
How it works now 1) enable Transverter in the Transceiver menu and 2) select 144MHz or 432MHz in the Transceiver preset menu.

Thanks!!
