Re: CW spacing in contest mode
Thanks, that works fine! RTFM :) Here is something I noticed. Most contest loggers lets you toggle between the call and exchange window using space. With RUMlog use I can advance from call to exchange with space, but not the other way around. Could this be something to put on the wish list? For most ...

Re: CW spacing in contest mode
Hooked up the WInKeyer (happy I brought one). In ESM mode only the first character of the call is sent. In ESM OFF it jumps directly to F3/TU after entering a call and pressing ENTER. I am using the wrong macro? <HIS CALL>?

Re: CW spacing in contest mode
That makes sense. I just have to use a winkeyer then.

CW spacing in contest mode
I am testing out RUMLog with my TS-590S with keying using TRX. I have setup the F1 to F8 keys with my standard contest messages. When using ESM everything works fine except when a station answer me and I come back to him with <HIS CALL> I get spacing between every character in his call sign. This ...

Re: Virtual serial cable
I see the transceiver in RUMlog and when I click the band map the transceivers frequency moves there. So it kinda work when I "push it" by using reset CAT. But RUMlog doesn't follow the TRX. I tried an alternate solution by hooking up a TS-590S via USB to the Macbook. It works the same way ...

Re: Virtual serial cable
I tried with and without RTS/CTS flow control, neither works. It works well when controlling the radio using flrig (and MacLogger), what could be different in the setup with RUMlog? I am not so familiar with flrig, but can I use flrig as a gateway between the radio and RUMlog? Or maybe something ...

Virtual serial cable
Hi, After many years with Mac as my primary work PC I am now playing with it in the shack too. I am trying to make it work with my SunSDR2 QRP transceiver using a virtual serial connection between the logger and the radio's control softare. It kinda works as I am able to update the logger with the ...
