RUMlogNG crash after sleep

Unread post by KT5V David »

Hi Tom - I'm really impressed with RUMlogNG. The P3 control is already a favorite new feature - great job.

I have problem though. I'm using 1.0.7, but have noticed this since first release. Whenever I return to the station after the mac has gone to sleep, the program is up and running, but CAT is stuck and and I can't close the program - its completely not responsive. After force quit, a lengthy report is generated and I've attached one here.

When I go back to the program, it tries to start. The icon bounces a while in the dock, then stops. No windows are opened. When I try to force quit, the program appears to running normally in the window. A force quit does not generate the report.

In order to run the program again, I have to restart the mac.

What other information would help track this down?

I heard about this before. I can't duplicate this issue with my hardware here, so I guess the combination of used hardware and software drivers are causing he problem. As workaround you should disable the sleep mode. Maybe I can stop CAT control before the mac falls into sleep.

Once I upgraded to 1.0.9, I've not observed this problem again. What combination of factors at play here is still a mystery, but for now problem is "solved". Looking forward to 1.1
