I have been a casual user of Rumlog and RumlogNG for a several years. I have decided to move from MacLoggerDX to RumlogNG because of the support for contests. I have asked Don Agro for contest support for years and I respect his decision to remain focused on regular logging.
If this feature is in the program, please forgive me. I have been up and down the manual and the UI and can't find it.
Feature: Quick transfer of contest QSOs to regular log. While they can be exported as ADIFs and imported into the "main" logging data, it would be great if there was a menu item "upload to main log" in the "upload" section of the contest menu when in a contest log. This would quickly and easily transfer the data.
In addition, the main log should have a field added. This field would be "contest" and would be populated with the name of the contest. That is know as the name is saved (or the contest is selected) when a new contest log is created. This would allow those users who want to (i.e., those who don't want to, don't have to) integrate their contest log into their main log. So there would be a check box "add contest label" (or something like that) when one selects this menu item.
Thank you.

Re: Feature request
There no export from the contest log to the main log, but you can direct import a contest log from disc: Menu-->Logbook--> Import contest fileFeature: Quick transfer of contest QSOs to regular log. Set a user definable field to <CONTEST_ID>. When you import a contest log (see above), the contest name will be filled automatically. In addition, the main log should have a field added. This field would be "contest" and would be populated with the name of the contest.

Re: Feature request
Thanks. I was looking for export while wrapping up field day. Wasn’t in the main log yet.
Thanks.
Thanks.
