So which app was using your F1, assuming that you have not assigned the F1 key yourself, so i know where to look if the same thing happens to me.

Ok, back to testing. Whenever i press F1 my radio goes into TX, but i get no power out of the radio. From this i conclude that there is no audio going into the radio. Having said that, when TX0 is applied and i send data i can see the modulation (power indicator moving) whenever i speak in the mic. Now, i don't see this, so i assume TX1 is correctly applied. Also because in your case, @m0pkz, everything is working fine. So i wonder if you can help me troubleshoot? Because i suspect that TX1 is correctly applied, but no audio is sent to the radio.
@dl2rum, what audio formats are supported? I use M4A and this seems to work fine when i run the test test to the internal speakers of the Mac.
Menu 63 to USB
64 to 1
65 to 4
68 Off
69 Off
Volume of the USB Codec at full for Input and Output in the Macs Preference panel.
Now, i do have this:
Left and right channel at max, but master volume at minimum. Does that influence things?
Thanks,
Ton.

DL2RUM wrote:Just checked, RUMlog applies "TX1;" over the CAT for PTT on.
According the manual for TX1;: DATA SEND (ACC2/ USB input)
Does this mean, it is used in DATA mode only?
Yeah, the manual uses the word Data for Data Mode (a set of filter settings), Data Communication (the audio that enters the USB or ACC port) and Data Transfer (cloning radio config to other radios).
The Data Mode function on the radio has nothing to do with the data Communication functions.

The master slider is grayed out. This means it is not supported here.

Hi Ton,
So once again settings on my mac and radio:
On radio menu following settings:
64-9
65-4
68-off
69-ON (Vox operation with data)
Also got all the time VOX turned on, but vox set to 0.
Hope this helps!!!!

But if you have this setting checked, why do you still use Vox for data?
In any case, i still don't have it working and i have no idea where to look for next...

Tom, i did another test. I took my audio file and loaded it into VLC. Then i key the radio using the voice keyer in RumLogNG, quickly move to VLC and play the file using the Kenwood Codec device. Then i see audio on the radio.
This mens that TX is set correctly, as we already concluded, but the file is not sent to the audio device or the playback volume is set very low.
Can you check if that all works as expected in the software?
Thanks,
Ton.
