A few questions about Rumlog2go on iPad

Post by welly »

Hello!

I’ve started using Rumlog2go on my iPad but have a few questions/queries which I’m hoping someone might be able to help out with.

- Filtering QSOs - is it possible to filter QSOs by different fields? And then export only those QSOs? For example, I might only want to export QSOs from a particular date or a particular band. Is this possible?

- How can I update the details in a QSO from QRZ.com? I can see that I can login to QRZ.com in the log settings but there is nowhere I can see that will let me update the details - such as name, locator etc. It appears that you can update from HamQTH.com - but when I click on “Use data”, I don’t see the data being updated. I assume QRZ.com integration works in a similar way but the QSO data just isn’t being updated.

Just looking again, I can see if I long click on an existing QSO (qrz.com is appearing now I’ve properly entered the username/password) and click on “Use data”, the new QSO fields are populated but not the existing QSO. Is there any way of updating an existing QSO from QRZ.com data?

I’m also confused about the section between the Log listing and the QSO entry form. It shows something as follows:

I’m not entirely sure what the middle section is for, in this case it shows a QSO I’ve made and the country it was related to. It appears to be some kind of country filter but I’m not 100% sure. The white line with the blue dot between the country and the QSO seems to rotate if I click on different QSOs from the log below. I’m just a bot perplexed as to what this represents.

I think that’s it for now!

Thanks in advance for any advice on the questions above!

No, you have to select QSOs in question manually. For more export details see here: viewtopic.php?p=6216#p6216

You can use the data prior saving only! for orz you need a xml subscription to get all data.
I’m not entirely sure what the middle section
It indicates the direction to the station / DXCC entity.
