I used RumlogNG for this weekend's 7QP contest. It all worked smoothly, including the fldigi script filling in the contest window parameters. However, I had a problem on submitting my results in Cabrillo format. I had a mix of SSB and PSK31 QSO's. The Cabrillo file tagged the PSK QSO's as "PS". This was not accepted by the checking program, and I don't see it in the Cabrillo specification. I edited the file and replaced with DG and that worked fine. But, is there something broken here, or something wrong in how I set up the contest log?
Thanks

Incompatible Cabrillo Mode for PSK
Re: Incompatible Cabrillo Mode for PSK
You are right, there is no specification in the Cabrillo format. DG is okay for all digital modes, when only one QSO is allowed. Some contest rules are not very clear (for me) and QSOs in different digits modes may be allowed or not. That's why few contests use own specifications.
You can't set it up, but I will change the Cabrillo output to DG for all digital modes for the 7QP.

Re: Incompatible Cabrillo Mode for PSK
OK, thanks for the quick reply, Tom. It's not a big problem. I just wondered if I was doing something wrong. In looking a little further into Cabrillo, I found another contest this weekend that does in fact say to use PS, so lots of inconsistency in the mode definitions I guess.
Thanks,
Mike
