If I may, I experience the same behaviour. That is,
when:
1. using my ICOM-705 (firmware 1.26) with
2. RUMlogNG (Version 5.6.8 (509)) and
3. the mode is set to CW and
4. FILTER is set to either to FIL2 (500Hz) or to FIL3 (250Hz) and
5. click on any station on the Band Map
then:
a. the IC-705 changes frequency but also
b. the FILTER changes to FILTER1 (1.2KHz wide), even though it was set to either FIL2 or FIL3.

Is it a setting we have to configure or we miss something?
73 es Thank you!

Thank you dear Tom! It is quite strange that the same question was raised by a few OM the same day...

Thank you once more and a very happy new year!
