Frequency keeps changing

Now this might not be a RUMlogNG issue, as it happens within WSJT-X, but the only way I can fix it is to restart RUMlogNG. Restarting WSJT-X alone does not fix it.

A few times over the last week, WSJT-X has been changing frequency after you have selected the band. The radio is changing frequency fine, and when WSJT-X changes frequency, the radio remains on what it was set to.

Hard to explain, but hopefully this video helps.

For reference, the radio never changed frequency to 14.210MHz. This frequency was, however, the frequency that I was using to have an SSB QSO before I went back to using WSJT-X.

What do you need to know?

WSJT-X and RUMlogNG are linked through the UDP server (sorry, I don't understand all the technical terms!).
So as I understand it, all the CAT control and radio functions are controlled by RUMlogNG.

I haven't changed my setup over the last few weeks.
I have not changed WSJT-X version for some time now.
This appears to happen on RUMlogNG v5.4 and 5.4.1.

My Icom 7300 was updated to v1.40 a few weeks back, but I don't think this problem coincided with that upgrade.

• Which app is controlling the TRX? RL or WSJT-X?
• Do you use the IC-7300 CTRL option?
• Do you have configured the Dx-Lab-Suite Commander in RL? Where? In the UDP or in the TRX settings?
• Is RL showing the correct frequency?

I'm trying to replicate the problem but, as expected, it's working ok at the moment

I use just the normal 7300 setting, not the CTRL option.
DX Lab Suite is my radio setting in WSJT-x.
Will let you know what RL shows as the freq when I can get the fault to occur again.
