microHam DXP: CW sends no PTT with winkey

Hello fellow Hams!

I am looking for some insight since I seem to have a wrong setup here:
Rig is
Mac with RumLog (Thanks for RumLog anyways, very nice piece of software)
microham DXP
Icom 7000.

Normal Cat control works, Frequency/Mode changes show up in RumLog, even using it as a proxy for WSJT-X works like a charm.

When in CW mode config , I picked the Winkey mode and the correct USB device.
when I press a function key on the keyboard, I hear the DXP sidetone keying along my text, but it does not trigger the PTT.
I tried the "enable PTT" checkbox in winkeyer settings both on and off, but still no triggering.

Am I missing something?
==> I tried the MacWinKeyer software and it works directly. keys and triggers are working fine.

Just checked, the PTT option works as expected.
Check the LEDs on the front panel. The PTT LED should come on and the CW LED should blink.

Thanks for looking into this.

Plugins the DXP into another USB hub and rebooting the system seemed to help.
I can now trigger PTT as well.
