Colors in Spot window but no notifications, is this possible

Unread post by EA3HOE »

I want to see what i need to work in my Spots window, but i don't want the notification. Maybe it's a bug, maybe i'm doing something wrong, but when i select what i want to have marked in the Preferences/DX Alarms dialog i automagically get Growl notification as well. And yes, my Growl notification check box is off.
Is it possible to have colors without notification?
Funny how this board doesn't have the ability to delete your own account.

RUMlog shouldn't send Growl notifications when you have deselect it. Maybe you see the macOS notifications?

The Growl selection was introduced for compatibility reasons on older systems only. You should set your desired options always in the Notification Application itself. Set the options for your convenience in the Growl preferences and the Notifications settings.

Probably. I am a long time Mac user so i tend to mix those two up. Is there a way to suppress the OSX notifications?

You have to go to the Notifications Preferences.

Sure. Thanks. I am still figuring out how to retain the window locations as well.
