RUMLogNG integration w/FLDIGI

RunlogNG 2.9 on a MacBook Air OSX El Capitan (10.11.5):
FlDIGI 3.23.10
Rig KX2 using KX2-Ctrl (but same results with just KX2)

I am having a one way communication problem between RumlogNG and FlDIGI. RumlogNG is controlling the KX2 just fine - band/mode/qrg all work fine, VFOs tracking etc.
Setup TX1 with Use Cat, Send Data to FlDIGI and the FlDIGI IP/port set (see screenshot attached of the TX1 setting)
Setup FlDIGI Rig Control to use XML-RPC (see second screenshot below of the setting dialog box)

In FlDIGI the frequency changes as I spin the VFO on the KX2, so the read part of CAT is working fine
However, when i hit the Tune button or use the <TX> it does not PTT the rig.

What am i missing?

In the TX1 meeting there is the curious drop down labelled "For PTT Use", i have tried all the values in the drop down with no difference. The manual does not document what this is -- What is it??

Any help much appreciated.

You settings are looking good, even the PTT selection. Can you check Console for RUMlog related error messages?
In which operating mode is the KX2? Please note, while in FSK-D or PSK-D PTT keying via CAT will not work.

I looked through Console and could not find anything significant. There is one message for RUMLogNG that repeats (see screenshot) and 1 message for Fldigi that also repeats (see screenshot), other than that i could not see find any other messages in Console.

The KX2 is now in USB mode on the 20M band tuned to 14.192, and i just tried with these settings, same behavior.

Anything else i can try, or can more detailed logging be turned on to see the communications between fldigi and RUMLogNG? (i am a computer engineer, can use Xcode/gdb etc if needed)

When the "Tune" button is pressed in Fldigi, the PTT through RUMlog will not be activated!
Fldigi don't report the active PTT via xml-rpc while tuning. There is another xml-rpc command provided, especially for the active Tune state. RUMlog don't use this. It is not planed to add this in the next future.
While using Fldigi's Tune mode, toggle the PTT manually.

Thanks for tracking this down.
For those of you on this forum, you probably already know the tremendous support that Tom provides for his products. I reported this (non)problem on Sat, and by Sun Tom and me had cooperated in a debugging session over the internet and resolved my concerns and in the process has a very nice interaction.

This is what exemplary world class customer support is !
