Maps Not Showing Correct Location For Callsigns

Unread post by KB2MOB »

Hello,

Is anyone else seeing something weird with the maps in 1.2.5 (56)?

When I enter a callsign to pull up the information, the map sometimes will show the pin in the wrong area. It seems to work ok for HamQTH, but for QRZ, it often drops the pin in the wrong spot.
Anyone have ideas?

Thanks in advance! :D

To indicate the correct position, you have to know it first. Maybe you have noticed, there are no locations returned by qrz.com in the table. RUMlog tries to find an approximate position.
When you want more information from qrz.com, you have to pay for our data. You have to become a xml-subscriber. I recommend to use HamQTH, since it is free.
