1) I'm still getting the "Call not matched" pop-up. All the QRZ items are un-checked, in Preferences, there is no ID or password. Is there a way to kill that message?
2) Can the history(?) window that pops up when a spot in the DX Spot window is clicked be turned off?
3) When I do Menu-->QSL-->LoTW tq8 out, is it normal to be asked for my password? The Windoze edition of the program was changed a few years ago to allow a password and location to be passed in.

1) I'm still getting the "Call not matched" pop-up.
Can you explain at which point exactly this message pops up? Which callsign do you have entered? This message can op up only, when you want to take over the data from qrz.com or HamQTH.com. I haven't seen this popup using HamQTH!
2) Can the history(?) window that pops up when a spot in the DX Spot window is clicked be turned off?
Toggle off the option: Menu-->Logbook-->Show prev. QSOs
3) When I do Menu-->QSL-->LoTW tq8 out, is it normal to be asked for my password?
In the Mac version you can't set the password as argument when starting from the Shell. From the docs:
If the private key needed to sign a log is protected by a password, the user will be prompted to supply that password for each file being signed.
But you can set your password to an empty string, then you will not be prompted.

F2YT/P or OZ/DG5LAC either by double clicking a spot, or typing it into the callsign box and pressing <TAB> key.
2) Can the history(?) window that pops up when a spot in the DX Spot window is clicked be turned off?
Toggle off the option: Menu-->Logbook-->Show prev. QSOs
That is unchecked. The popup I mean is the one you get when you click (or double click) on a spot in he Spot window. It shows all previous spots for the call clicked on.

The ARRL Mac programmer needs to get it to match the WIn version....
Do you mean setting the PW for TQ8 to an empty string, or the PW in preferences? In preferences, I'm guessing it's used to send the signed file.

Deactivate the option Menu-->QSO-->Add Data to Log automatically
The "Callsigns don't match" message is only shown, when you try to take over the data from the internet. And in the case of a /p operation the data will be wrong, that's why you will get alerted.
You can't switch off the prev. spot popup.

Yes, that kills the message, but also a nice feature of adding data automagically. Maybe for a future release discard any portable part of the call sign before doing the lookup. After all, what is interesting is info about the operator - gotten by using the home call. For instance do the lookup on NF4L, not NF4L/P or VP5/NF4L. For calls where the portable designator is equal in length to the call sign, it's a tossup which to use.
You can't switch off the prev. spot popup.
Perhaps a toggle in a future release?

Yes, qrz.com makes it this way.

I mean the password you can set while signing your certificate using the program tqslcert.
