Rumlog 5.0 Clublog questions

Hi Tom,

I did a complete upload today to Clublog. I.E., I did an export from Rumlog 4.9.1 to an ADIF file, and used the Clublog webpage upload function to clear out my old Clublog, and upload the new ADIF file I created from Rumlog.

I then installed Rumlog 5.0, and in preferences, I tabbed over to Clublog, and filled in the needed info, and set it to Update in realtime.

Later on in the day, I used the LOTW in function to see if I had any new confirmations via LOTW. The only QSO that showed from LOTW was the last one that I had received previously. When I tried to close the LOTW window, my Rumlog program stopped responding, and I had to do a force quit. At the time, I had my log page set to show all QSO's, of which I have approximately 8500. I received an automated email from Clublog stating that they received my update, of about 1.3 MB, and no changes were made to my Clublog file.

I then reopened my Rumlog program, and set my log page to show only this years contacts. Just out of curiosity, I went to the LOTW in function again, and Rumlog "hung" for a few moments when I tried to close the LOTW window, but it did finally close. Shortly thereafter, I received another automated email from Clublog stating that they received my update of .327MB and that no changes were made to my Clublog log.

Does Rumlog send an email update to Clublog of my entire logbook to Clublog every time I check in with LOTW? (By entire, I mean does it send my entire log as I have it set to display in the log book page setting. Eg., Show this year only would cause Rumlog to send an update for this year only)

Will Rumlog send my entire log every time I change one QSO to QSL received?

And lastly, will Rumlog send my entire log every time I add a new QSO?

Or was sending these large files to Clublog a one time event while Rumlog gets in "sync" with Clublog, and will only send updates for new or changed QSO's in the future?

Thanks for the continuing updates to your program. I love using a Mac, and your logging program is tops! I'm just trying to understand what happened today, and what might expect in the future regarding the new Clublog feature.

RUMlog sends the full log only once. After a LoTW update, only the changed QSOs are sent.
