Is there a technical reason that direct CW over CAT is not enabled for the Kenwood TS-2000?
I note that when the TS-2000 is selected as the transceiver in the CAT settings in RumlogNG, the message under the CW tab for the “Transceiver” selection says, “The selected transceiver isn’t supported for CW keying.”
According to the TS-2000 manual, the radio supports CW over CAT using the same KY;/KS; protocol as the TS-480, provided Menu 12 is set to “BEEP Volume” above 0. I use the "TS-480" selection in the CAT settings rather than "TS-2000" for my TS-2000, and CW from my radios works without apparent problems.
Thank you for your assistance.

Re: CW over CAT on Kenwood TS-2000
Few important commands for CW are missing. Was it for canceling the transmission? I can't remember, but there was reason for that.
Please note the RUMlog internal CW keyer, this one is more reliable and better integrated: https://dl2rum.de/RUMlogNG/docs/en/page ... al_CW.html
