What does "Use TRX voice keyer instead" mean/do when I have a FLEX-6xxx as TX 1?

Not sure it will do anything.

BTW I'm using SmartSDR for MAC.

RL can record and play audio files using the F-keys when in a phone mode. Some transceivers have a build in voice player. Use this option to activate it using the F-keys. Following transceivers are supported:
