Importing EDI in RUMlogNG

Unread post by PE2V »

Hello,

Today I discovered that I was missing a lot of QSO's in my main logbook and found out that I did not import the QSO's from a specific contest (VHF/UHF March 7 / 8 - 2020). Last year my hard drive crashed and I lost a lot of data, and.... the data for this contest. Also the ADIF and .rped file from RUMlogNG for this contest too .... but .....

I found the EDI file in an conformation email from the contest robot. So I have the EDI but can't figure out how to import this into RUMlogNG. Is this possible or do I need to convert this file into ADIF first? I looked the internet for online tools but I can't find it. Also not for iMac OS tools...

Any help is useful! Thanks!

The EDI format is used to send your QSO data to a contest manager. It ist not designed (not even useful) for data exchange between logging applications. It will be hard for you to find a converter.
But since all your data are in the EDI file, you should be able to reenter all QSOs.
