Hi,
do you use other rig control software?
Try first to change the CI-V address in the Set menu to 70h. (Chapter 9 at page 32 in my downloaded english manual) In RUMlog preferences set the TRX to IC-7000. I guess this should work.

Hi Tom,
thanx for your fast answer!
I've tried CAT with FLDIGI and works fine.
I've also tried to change ci-v address. It read the frequency only when connects, when i move VFO the frequency don't change.
The only way to have the correct frequency into QRG field is clicking Reinit under Transceiver menu before entering every QSO.
Any clue?
Thanx.

Oh fine,
I've forgotten one thing: you have to set CI-V transceive to On in the Set menu.
Can you set the RX frequency from RUMlog, clicking into the band map or entering a frequency into the callsign field?

Hi Tom,
I've tried with the new configuration:
CI-V trans ON
Address 70h
Now reads the VFO and modes well.
Only one thing, when I click on the band map, cluster or enter the frequency directly into callsign field it only change the mode.
The frequency remains the same.
I've tried both on VFO and Memory.
Next step?

Thanx again for your help!

Sorry Tom,
my mistake. When I enter the frequency in callsign field it changes the frequency and mode correctly.
The problem remains under the cluster and the band map.
I've tried with 2 different cables: USB CT-17 (from Moxon) on CI-V port and a USB-Serial converter on the RS232 port of the R75.

Hm, there is no difference in the used routines. Which baud rate do you use? I would recommend to use 9600 or better 19200 fixed, do not set to Auto in the RX!
If you have no further success, try the latest Beta:
http://dl2rum.de/rumsoft/RUMlogToTest.zip I have added some time delays between Mode- and Frequency settings.
When you use the Beta, backup your logs first! Once opened, you can not read this file with RUMlog prior version 4! The Beta works stable and I do not expect trouble.

Hi Tom,
I'll use 9600 bps as baudrate.
With the beta version is all ok! All problems solved, works well!!
The new features are great, thanks!

Fine, I have added the R-75 to the list of supported TRX. Please reselect the CI-V address on your rx to 5Ah and test the latest RUMlog Beta version using the R-75 selection. Also you should switch off the CI-V Transceive option in the Set menu before you start RUMlog, RUMlog will switch it on again.
