Unfortunately version 5.0 crashes after 3 seconds without any warning on my machine.

I updated my Mac to Big Sur (11.0.1), now RumLogNG no longer works - will there be an update soon?

What happens? Crash report?
no longer works is not very specific and not helpful to investigate.
