RUMlogNG not connecting to IC-7300 anymore...

Hi All

Unfortunately, I can no longer seem to get RUMlogNG to work with my IC-7300 on my iMac. It was working fine, but I guess one of the latest updates to OSX has caused a communications issue and I am no longer able to use it! I am presently on OSX Catalina 10.15.5

Are there any know issues with the Silicon Labs USB driver used for comms? Does anyone know? I am not sure I am seeing the driver at all in the drop down RUMlog preferences list on the TX1 tab.

Can anyone offer any help please... many thanks.

Hello John,

I have been using OS X Catalina 10.15.6 version and I do not have problems with my IC-9700 and I believe that IC-7300 uses same driver, at least I used same driver when was at OH73ELK last year.

Many thanks for your reply, David. I’ve had a long play with settings etc, and as is often the case, it boiled down to a stupidly simple thing, and of course my being a total idiot for not trying this first off... I simply reinstalled the SiliconLabs driver, and hey presto!

I feel such a twerp :D
