RUMLOGNG, WSJT-X and CAT

Hi all,
I have a Yaesu FT-847 that I use with WSJT-X but would also like to have RumLogNG have CAT control as well. If I start RumLogNG before WSJT-X, WSJT-X throws a fit.
I've tried setting up the rig as a DX Commander Suite in WSJT-X and I can then control the rig from RumLogNG and see things updated in WSJT-X. But it only works one direction. I can't make band changes in WSJT-X and have that selected in RumLogNG. In fact, if I make a change, eventually RumLogNG will change it back.
So how do you get it working in both directions.
Using RumLogNG 3.12.2 and WSJT-X 2.1.2
