LoTW incoming QSL

Unread post by VE2DLC »

Hi Tom.
i don't know why but i get so many red flags when i download incoming QSL.
2 days ago, 66 QSL (s) received, 33 QSO (s) not in log, 0 QSO corrected.
All 33 are in log, i click everyone of them one by one in the Incoming Box to make the correction manually.
Using RUMlogNG 4.2 (318).
Whats wrong with all those missed ?
Thanks 73

Hard to say without any further data. Post a screen shot of the LoTW QSL in table and post the QSO details in your logbook.
Do you have uploaded all affected QSOs with RUMlog?

You can reset the Last LoTW QSL in date in the Preferences to few days ago to reload the faulty QSLs again.

Hi Tom
I upload directly with TQSL.
Here is this morning LoTW incoming qsl box with part of the logbook.
On this page we can see R2DRE, AJ6CY AND 9G2HO red flagged and you can see those 3 in th logbook.
Tnx for your help Tom

Watch the QSO time, it's different. RUMlog can't find the QSOs in the Log. Date, time, mode and band have to match. LoTW returns always the same data you upload. That's why it is strongly recommended to use the same logbook for up- and download.

GE Tom
99% of my qso's now are in FT8 either with WSJT or JTDX most of the time.
I then transfer the WSJT_log.adi to a USB key. Why ? because i work FT8 on a Windows machine, i upload my logs towards 2 windows computers and 2 Mac's
The upload to LOTW and computers is done with that same USB stick, so date and times are all the same.
In RumlogNG i use LOG QSO end time Should i use LOG QSO start time ?
Last few weeks, i did transfer old paper logs 1984 - 1986 into RumlogNG, but i found out here on the forum that to be Adif compatible we shall save the whole log to be sent to LoTW with the QSO Start time, because saved with End Time didn't work.
Anything to do with that Tom?
TNX for ur time.

because i work FT8 on a Windows machine,
When your Mac is in the same LAN, you could save the QSOs from WSJT-X direct in RUMlog.

LoTW wants to see the QSO start time. It's worth a try to import the start time.
