OK, with the first beta you sent me, I start the radio, open RUMlog, then I have to init TRX1 to see the frequency. It makes no difference on auto or 19k2 manual. This is using the 706 setup

Ian, it's hard to say, but currently I don't have any further ideas. I can't explain why it is working only after your reset procedure. The menu command Reinit TRX is doing exactly the same. When I could have the rig on my desk, I would find it out.
It seems, here is no other IC-7100 owner on the list. The IC-706 interface is working for years without problems, so the problem must be at another place. Maybe there is a special in the USB connection? I have to read the manual in more detail.

OK Tom,
I can live with it for now. Would it be possible to simply add a timed init to the radio I wonder, just to automate the process?

A timer is useless until I don't know where the problem is. When you close and reopen the port manually using the menu, it is even not working. There must be a minor difference somewhere I have to find.

Hi Tom,
It continues to work randomly. This morning, it worked right away. This afternoon was more of a battle but I got there :)
Just as a separate issue, could you add the 4 metre band in please so I can filter by it on the cluster?

Oh, and while I am here, would it be possible to be able to alter the order of the fields in the log?

No chance! You can hide columns, that's all.
