Thanks for the version to test. Yes, it fails, when I click on the RumLogNG screen in the "Name" field. Failed this way two times. I did have successful FT8 QSOs when I did not change the screen focus to RumLogNG with this test version. Yesterday, in the previous version, I worked 10 FT8 QSOs with no crash. I have not yet moved my data file out of Dropbox.

So, there is a workaround for me: to not select the RumLogNG window with my mouse while using WSJT-X. Easy enough.

I removed some third party code which caused the crash. On the down side, few settings are not compatible with earlier versions. You have to set it again:

• In all Icom and Elecraft Control Panels:
  • Saved to file Memories
  • Saved to file Band Stacking Registers
  • Saved to file Fixed Scope Band Edges
• List of your preset Dx Clusters
• Your dx-cluster colours setting (contest & logging)

When this version crashes again, pse provide the crash log.

Tom - No crashes during 5 WSJT-X QSOs, doing the same user activities that I did before which pretty consistently had resulted in crashes every time. I'll do more tests later today and tomorrow and will advise. Looking good so far. Danke schon, 73 Hoop
