Thank you for seeing that. CAT for frequency and mode work even with 1000 in that space. I have changed it. CAT is still working. CAT and the keyer always worked. I have also made the Microkeyer work on Windows and Linux. So, other than the USB bug, I think the Microkeyer is OK. Your configuration tool is much easier to use, even for connecting the box to other computers. I would rather use Microkeyer II with RumlogNG.

If you know a method for activating the PTT on the radio that does not involve Auto PTT, I would greatly appreciate it. I cannot figure out the settings to get PTT from the app to the radio. I assume there is a path, even if it is not direct. I have even tried directing the app audio to the radio microphone to use the radio VOX. But the audio stream seems to require an active PTT in the Microkeyer. It is very possible I have missed something.

In the microKeyer status panel are a lot of bubbles, one is for PTT. Even on the MKII is a PTT LED. When the PTT LED is lit, software is okay and you have a hardware issue.
Since I'm using a microKeyer by myself, I'm sure it must work. I've tested iDigi with MKIII and dx-lab suite commander successful. iDigi shows the correct frequency and the PTT toggles as well.

Thank you for the response. I am still on a Microkeyer II. My understanding is that your Microkeyer III uses a newer 24-bit USB audio chip and hardware design that can deal effectively with the Mac's USB negotiation.

I know about the PTT/SC/LINE LEDs and their behavior, the configuration of Auto PTT, and all the many audio routing options. I have made the Microkeyer II work with Linux and Windows. I have even made the AutoPTT work on a Mac with WSJT-X in Parallels, and speak correctly to Rumlog. That is not a solution because the USB integration by Parallels is fragile and cannot be trusted from one time to the next.

I am going to conclude that the audio components and transmitter keying in Microkeyer II cannot be made to work at the same time with RumlogNG. If they can, send me the settings. Something obvious has probably evaded me. I simply want the transmitter to send a signal when I generate it in the digital app--in the same manner as in Windows and Linux.

Thank you again for all the time you devoted to trying to resolve this issue. Thank you for continuing to make RumlogNG ham radio's best logger/controller.

I just noticed that you also activated a DX-Lab Commander CAT in the RUMLog UDP tab. You should just use the Server under the TX#1 tab.
