Yes, "localhost" was the UDP Server field. Changing to 127.0.0.1 fixed it.
Thanks!

WSJT-X Not Connecting in version 6.0
For some reason, the latest 6.0 is not connecting to WSJT-X through UDP. Everything else works fine, but there is no connection, so logging doesn't happen. Reverting back to 5.2 fixes the problem, with no change in Settings. This is what the Network Status looks like with 5.2: Screenshot 2025-12-27 ...

Re: USB-C Serial Adaptor
Well, you were right, in a way. It wasn't the levels. It's that RS-232 is inverted TTL, at least for Elecraft radios. I found a comment to that effect buried in a forum from years ago. But, I learned that FTDI based USB to serial parts can be easily programmed. (And, bricked I'm told.) FTDI offers a ...

Re: USB-C Serial Adaptor
That is a good thought, but according to N6KR:
"The input can accept the full RS232 range, +/- 25 V. But 0-5 V will
also work. In fact 0-3 V will work."
I'd think he would know, but he made that comment early on in KX3 production and things could have changed.
I'll keep looking.

USB-C Serial Adaptor
I just upgraded the station computer to a new M4 iMac. The previous was an M1 MacBook Air. I had been using using the FTDI serial cable available from Elecraft to connect to my KX3. It works fine, but is USB-A instead of USB-C as used on the more recent Apple, and I guess other, computers. So, I ...

Re: WSJT-X 5.7 Conflict
Further update... I've been switching modes between CW and WSJT-X a lot of late, because of the various DXpeditions that have shown up. I'm pretty convinced that the problem I described is not a driver problem. Here's why: When using WSJT-X software, with the Transceiver Control disabled so that ...

Re: WSJT-X 5.7 Conflict
Here's a 2023 update. It seems like the clean install didn't really work after all. After a while, whenever I tried to QSY using a spot from the spot window, it took close to 10 seconds before I could see activity on the Elecraft USB to serial adaptor and the radio would respond. I ran out of ...

5.10.1 Gone?
I tried using 5.10 and the spinning beachball visited, so I reverted to 5.9.1. Back to normal. This morning, I got a notice that 5.10.1 was available in the App Store, would I like to upgrade? It would fix the beachball problem. It downloaded OK and then told me that I couldn't upgrade now. Try ...

Re: 5.9.1(536) - Log window columns resetting in Ventura
Same problem here. I thought it was just me!
WSJT-X is also acting a bit flaky as well since the upgrade.
I now regret upgrading to Ventura since I am lucky enough to have a MacBook Air M1 that I bought just for RUMlogNG and WSJT-X use. No gain with the upgrade, only pain.

Re: QSO data exchange possibilities
I'm having bad luck with this with the most recent update. Normally, I use a MacBook Air M1 for all the logging. I then routinely save the latest log file to iCloud for backup. I do this through normal macOS means, not directly through RumLogNG. I often download a copy of this log directly to ...
