Tom,
Thank you! I had originally selected "use data", but in the course of trying different settings, it became deselected and I failed to check that setting. Thank you again for all of your support.

Re: Inconsistent communication with radio
Tom,
The test app does correct the CAT control problem--that is great. However, I still do not have the DX station information filling in the log--only displaying in the Information box from QRZ. I have attached screenshots to show the logging screen and the DXCC preferences.

Re: Inconsistent communication with radio
Tom, I have only TX 1 configured--no second radio configuration. If I go to Menu, Transceiver, Reset CAT 1, it does not restore 2-way CAT control. Only by using Preferences, deselect Use CAT, close, then open Preferences, select Use CAT, close, is the communication restored. Another anomaly: the ...

Re: Inconsistent communication with radio
Tom, If I disable CAT, close the preferences box, then enable CAT, close the preferences box, everything works properly, with full 2-way communication. However, the colors still do not change back to normal. I have to repeat this sequence every time I relaunch RUNLogNG. The messages I see in console ...

Re: Inconsistent communication with radio
I am using RUMLogNG v 2.0 (65). I understand your comments about the change in colors--they had previously been as you describe. I have attached a screen shot of the console report--there are references to RUMLogNG.

Re: Inconsistent communication with radio
I tried using RUMLog 5.3.13 again, and it works perfectly. Why the main logging window in RUMLogNG suddenly does not track the frequency shown in the Band Map is a mystery. I have sent a query to KenwoodUSA support in the event of some fault in the USB com port, but have not heard back from them yet ...

Re: Inconsistent communication with radio
I don't use fldigi when I am using RUMLogNG, so I did not set CAT from fldigi. I use fldigi separately, and then import adif files into RUMLogNG.
I am using OS X 10.10.5 (Yosemite).

Re: Inconsistent communication with radio
Screenshot 2015-10-18 09.32.42.png Thank you for your reply. I have deleted the various files in the Containers file for RUMLogNG, and allowed those files to be recreated. I have also found that there was a problem with data communications using fldigi, but those problems existed when using UHF/VHF ...

Inconsistent communication with radio
I have been using RUMLog for some time on my Macbook Pro and Kenwood TS-590S. I upgraded to RUMLogNG and used that program without problems until recently, after installing v.1.1. I now have inconsistent communication between the program and my radio. When I launch the program, the frequency ...
