So that if I move on the band (or change band) and find something interesting i can log the qso just typing the call without thinking about the ...

Yes, the readout is correct.

The trx is controlled without any issue from the mac both in frequency and modulation (CW, USB,LSB,FSK).
I can even send cw messages from the "CW" menu.
