Re: MacOS Sonoma support?
I just upgraded to 5.14 (from the App Store) on my M2-based Mac Studio running Sonoma 14.0, and it 'beachballs' when I bring up the 'DXCC Status', and have to do a 'kill -9 RUMlogNG' in a terminal window to kill it. The other windows, e.g. Japanese Prefectures, U.S. States, etc. appear to work OK ...

Re: QSO Color-coding
Your suggestion worked perfectly.
Now all I need to do is work some new ones to add to the log!
Thank you so much - I really appreciate it!

Re: QSO Color-coding
I'm running NG V3.0 under Sierra (very nicely, thank you) and decided to play with the color-coding feature. I have two QTHs, one in North Carolina where I spend my summers, and the rest of the time in south Florida. Up until now, I have kept separate .rlog files for each QTH, but that makes it ...

Re: DXCC question
Thank you for the suggestions on how to fix my log, because I did discover a potential bug - I had a QSO with a guy in North Carolina whose call is KG4xyz, and RUMlogNG (after converting the log from Classic to NG) listed him as being in Guantanamo Bay. The problem is, while the prefix for ...

Re: Synchronisation DXCC.rsd database
Thank you, Tom for the hint (and, more importantly, for the underlying capability!) I was/am being very, very cautious, as I tend to be with software that is new to me. In a former life, I was a software QC engineer for a major UNIX vendor and old habits die hard. I also wanted to clean up a couple ...

Re: Synchronisation DXCC.rsd database
As a final follow-up, I did use RUMped for the contest, and had a great time using it, and had no real problems with the software. After the contest was over, I carefully made copies of the resulting .ADIF and .CBR files and tweaked them as necessary, and was able to cleanly import the contest .ADIF ...

Re: Synchronisation DXCC.rsd database
Well, I ended up scrapping the original "installations" of RUMlog and RUMped, then downloaded fresh copies, and then used Finder to "move" the folders (Safari unzipped the downloaded files for me automatically) to my Applications folder. All of the applications now show up on my Launchpad screen ...

Re: Synchronisation DXCC.rsd database
Hi, Rick - Thanks for your quick response! No, it appears that I didn't put the complete folders in Applications. In fact, thanks to your suggestion, I looked in ~n1ho/Library/Application Support, and noticed that other applications such as Gnucash and LibreOffice *DO* have populated folders ...

Re: Synchronisation DXCC.rsd database
I'm a newbie to Mac OS X and RUMlog/RUMped - I just migrated from Linux, so I am slightly familiar with *NIX stuff, but not with OS X. I have a mid-2011 iMac and Mac OS X 10.7.3 (Lion, with last week's update). I "installed" RUMlog-4.9 a couple of weeks ago, and things seem to be running smoothly ...
