RUMtrol7000-RT 2.1 Beta 6 uploaded
Hello, Beta 6 is available for download: http://dl2rum.de/rumsoft/RUMtrol7K.html I've changed slightly the way how the internal memory clipboard works. Now it is possible to select more than one channel, to use it for 'Cut", 'Copy' or 'Insert'. This was done for your convenience if you want to ...

RUMped 1.0.6
Hi folks, I've just uploaded RUMped 1.0.6 This version fixes two major bugs: Editing of QSOs is possible again, this was broken in 1.0.3 and the import of QSOs into a contest log file works now correct. The multipliers were not calculated correct. An other greyline window were added, which shows ava...

Re: support for microHAM USB II
Hi Dave,
I have a loan interface here, but the problem is I have no Windows computer here to test.
Try first to deselect all checkboxes in the preference window. When this does not help, connect only the control cable to the TRX and power the interface from an external source.

Re: support for microHAM USB II
Using a microHAM interface on a Macintosh is not supported yet. The microHAM is not just an interface, special drivers are needed.
Maybe it works under Windows, I have no info yet.

RUMlog Beta 2 can talk to you
In Beta 2 you can select spoken dx announcements. Have a look and hear to the site http://dl2rum.de/rumsoft/Announcements.html to get a feeling how it works.

RUMped 1.0.3 released
I've just uploaded a new RUMped version. Some minor changes were made in the serial port programming. Over the TRX port you have now better control. Some kinds of interfaces made trouble. The usability of all connected devices should be better now. After changing an interface or port, you do not hav...

cocoaModem Lite Interface available
Hi, Chen, W7AY has added a minimal interface to the cocoModem. Only the tuning and the waterfall display is visible, so it is easier to use on small screens. With this tiny interface wideband RTTY and PSK is possible. See http://homepage.mac.com/chen/w7ay/cocoaModem/More/Contents/Lite.html for furth...

Re: PPT stays on all the time?
Chris, please confirm that the radio control works now as well. In the locator field you have to enter your world wide locator. See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maidenhead_Locator_System for details. RUMped needs this information to calculate distances and bearings from your home location. There is ...
