3.0.1 Bug fixing

Version 3.0.1 fixes a major problem when processing QSL records from the LoTW. QSOs were not recognized, when there were seconds>0 in the QSO time.

Thanks a lot to Rick, K6LE

RUMped 1.2 available

A "Best Times Window" was added to get a better overview about openings to specified areas. As option you can select a continent from the popup menu, or you can enter a prefix into the text field. When you entering a prefix, the cq zone will be taken in account also! A new option was added...

RUMped, Leopard, MySQL and MAMP

Hi folks, Léonce, FM5DN uses the MAMP package http://www.mamp.info/en/index.php for the MySQL server. There are some advantages and some disadvantages as well. MAMP is very easy to install and could be your first choice when trying out RUMped. Under Leopard, there are now some issues with this error...

Re: field watt

Hi Flavio,

I don't think so. Adding a new field is not so easy and the database needs an update and is not longer compatible. If want to have a separate field you can use the state field.

I was able to read my IC7000 with RUMtrol and two other programs. Of course RUMtrol is...

Re: Limited to 13 entries in memeory bank A

Fine to read this David. I have no experience with the poll rate on a windows machine. Here on a MacBook Pro 2.2 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo I have set it to 60 ms. That means every 60 ms is a command send to the radio. When the processor in the radio is more busy for any reason and can't process the comma...

Re: Limited to 13 entries in memeory bank A

Hi Dave, thanks for your nice words and I'm sorry for your troubles. Just to clarify: Do you use RUMtrol on Win32? Lets start with the preferences. When your CAT interface gets the power from the port, first try to check the boxes 'Set RTS Line' and 'Set DTR Line' . Move the 'Poll Time' slider full ...

Re: RUMlog Beta 7, Minor changes

Hi Jim, make sure you have set the correct band edges in the Frequencies/Mode tab in the preferences. Here you can define the band borders. As default RUMlog uses my settings, the european band plan. So when you log a contact on your 75m band at 3900Kc RUMlog will detect it as out of band and sets t...

Re: channels limited to 99 ?

Hi,

I can't understand correct what do you mean. On the rig you can program 3 pairs of scan edges, as well in RUMtrol.
